You know summer’s here when we bring back the Watermelon Cooler. This all-time favorite is crisp and refreshing, garnished with cool cucumber. If you haven’t tried it yet…swap it for your usual lemonade!
Iced Tao Teas
We’re so excited to offer teas by Tao, a Belgian company that creates aromatic, high quality teas. If you’re in New York or Connecticut, look for Pomegranate White Tea, a delicate balance of floral, pomegranate and passion flower notes, or Orange Blossom Black Tea, a mélange of black tea with lemon and orange blossom.
If you’re in LA, Chicago or the Mid-Atlantic – quench your thirst with Jasmine Green Tea infused with lime and jasmine or Plum Rooibos Tea, a red tea which blends scents of plum and elderflower blossoms with a soft hazelnut aroma.
Mango Spinach Lassi
For those extra hot days, treat yourself to this creamy, super refreshing yogurt drink – our twist on an Indian staple – which blends mango and banana with Anita’s Coconut Yogurt. We add spinach for an extra kick of health benefits, like protein, fiber and vitamins.
Dragon Fruit Smoothie Bowl
If you loved our Açai bowl, you’re going to want to try this season’s smoothie bowl. Vibrant pink, mildly sweet dragon fruit is the base of this bowl, which we blend with raw cashew butter, key lime mousse, blueberry, banana and strawberry for a superfood packed breakfast. Pick from granola or crunola to top it off.
Skillet baked eggs are back again with three different renditions – Bacon & Scallion, Smoked Salmon & Dill, or Avocado & Crispy Onions. Get them until 12pm on weekdays, and 3pm on weekends – we recommend adding your choice cheese or protein for an instant flavor boost.
Spicy Shrimp & Avocado Toast
Whether you want to switch things up from your usual Avocado Toast, or are just super excited to have this back on the menu – order up this tartine served atop toasted wheat, spread with avocado mash and layered with corn salsa and shrimp. A smoky chipotle aioli and squeeze of lime adds a little kick!
Lebanese Chopped Salad
One of our favorite dishes this season is our twist on the classic Lebanese Fattoush salad. Sweet, crunchy little gem lettuce provides the base, which we top with cucumber, feta, fresh herbs and a splash of tangy vinaigrette. Za’atar crusted croutons add an aromatic crunch courtesy of Zesty Z: the Za’atar Co in Brooklyn, while a dusting of sumac adds a subtle lemony flavor.
We’re also turning the idea of a classic BLT sandwich into a salad this season. We toss little gem lettuce and crisp radishes with our farmhouse goat cheese dressing, sweet summer tri-color tomatoes, avocado, basil and bacon from Zoe’s Meats. A warm baguette crostini adds the final nostalgic touch. Up the protein with an egg or chicken add-on.
This summer we’re filling our savory egg custard quiche with summer zucchini and tomato, salty Parmesan, thyme and roasted peppers. Served on a buttery crust with a seasonal side salad, you’re going to want to add this to your summer brunch hit list!
