Carly Heitlinger epitomizes the busy young professional – as the superstar blogger behind The College Prepster, her days are often unpredictable and always packed. We got a chance to chat with Carly – a total inspiration and the co-hostess we worked with for our incredibly fun Georgetown FEED Supper – about the dishes that keep her going throughout her busy days.

For a morning meeting she loves… Pain au Chocolat

These croissants are my favorite. The best of both worlds as it’s flaky and sweet. It can be a little messy for a meeting, but it’s still worth it. You just have to go for it. Add a cup of coffee and you’re guaranteed to have a great day.

Her go-to for a mid-morning pick me up is… Fig and Frangipane Tart

Sometimes if I have a busy day, I’ll pop in for a quick treat from the pastry counter. The fig tart is really great!

Her lunchtime fave?  Avocado Toast

Hands down one of my favorite plates. It may actually be my favorite avocado toast ever. When I have time to sit down for a little meal, this is definitely what I go for.

Before yoga class, she snacks on… Steel-Cut Oatmeal with Bananas & Walnuts

I crave the oatmeal. It’s one of the best cures if you start to become hangry. So. Delicious. And it’s really filling without being an overly heavy meal, making it my favorite pre-yoga snack.

Her healthy dinner choice is… Quinoa Taboulé Salad

I love how healthy the dishes are! This is a no-guilt choice without sacrificing on taste!
