Back in August when the gears started turning for the FEED Supper Series, we could only imagine what an incredible journey we were about to embark on. Finally over 30 days in September and October, we hosted over 400 guests at suppers in 5 cities, highlighting the culinary work of our chefs, the charitable efforts of FEED Projects and the power of community and the communal table.

Our goal was to raise 250,000 meals for children and families in need in celebration of our upcoming 25th anniversary on October 26th. We met that goal, and then some – raising over 318,000 meals. We are so proud of this accomplishment, which would not have been possible without the participation and dedication of the Le Pain Quotidien community. Watching everyone come together – our guests and team members alike – was truly inspiring.

When thinking about our favorite moments, so many come to mind! Speaking with Lauren Bush Lauren and her team and learning about FEED Projects and the impact that they make inspired us. Working with exceptional influencers who acted as our co-hostesses let us extend our community beyond our immediate LPQ family. Seeing each of the host restaurants come to life in a way that we’d never seen before was moving.

But by far the best memory that we will carry with us was meeting each and every one of you – our attendees – hearing your stories and your reasons for attending a supper. We were blown away by the love and strength of our community, and we want to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to all of you!

The proceeds from the FEED Supper Series will be diverted to the World Food Programme, the world’s largest humanitarian organization fighting worldwide hunger and Feeding America, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization.

We look forward to the next occasion that brings us together around the communal table!
